Caught this in 35mm and just want to get it out there that nothing has ever looked this good on film, can’t imagine seeing it any other way.
This blends traditional filmmaking with new wave elements and feels like nothing else out there. Everything that happens after the bowling scene is so vulnerable. Vincent Gallo seems to have a relatively toxic fanbase (for the most part) and from what I know about him I can’t say I’m a huge fan but I also can’t deny his artistic devotion. I’ll have a lengthy amount to say about this eventually but I’m glad I liked this and am open to discussing it more.
