Kurtis’s review published on Letterboxd:
The first half was enjoyable. The fisheye take on this royal grandeur and snarky humor was completely captivating. Colman, Stone, and Weisz deserve the praise they are receiving.
Unfortunately, as the second half approached I found the film grew tiresome. It seemed as a chore to follow the back and forth tug between Stone and Weisz as they craved the ever-worthy favoritism. Because of this, while I completely understand the end result, the ending scene itself felt dull. I would have rather seen Stone succumb to her lust for stature to burst with the bodies of those rabbits.
Maybe in a sequel.
