    Hatchet II

Too slow. The 1st one was fast paced and funny and gory. This 1 moved far too slow. We don't need this much development in a silly slasher flick. That said, Tony Todd & Danielle Harris nail it again. & there are some great deaths if you wait for the last 25 min.

Some better choices are the 1st Hatchet, The Tripper, Behind the Mask: the Rise of Leslie Vernon and/or Dark Ride, all from 2006. Or Bloody Bloody Bible Camp - 2012.

    Spider-Man: Homecoming

Slightly disappointing. Cast great. Action so-so. Dialogue corny. I do like that Marvel is going deep bench on cast of characters (Liz, not MJ or Gwen & Ned, not Harry again). Fav part was intro of Aaron Davis & Mac Gargan. Love those guys in comics.

I've been watching the stylized DC shows & movies w/ my young sons. Forgot how good they are. Daley, Delany & Brown are brilliant as Superman, Lois & Luthor, respectively. And of course, features the one and only Mark Hamill.

Crime Wave: 18 Months of Mayhem

Very fascinating. The tommy-gun era bank robbers criss-crossed my state of Indiana more than any other. I've been to the jail Dillinger escaped from in Crowne Point. And I'm from South Bend, where Dillinger and Nelson robbed a bank, killing an officer. Anyway, great doc. Only complaint is they skipped Pretty Boy Floyd & the Barker-Karpis gang ( they kidnapped the Hamm's Beer guy).
