I didn't know mumblecore was a thing. Now I think I'm a fan.
I've been a fan of Joe Lo Truglio since MTV's The State. This is the best role I've seen him in since Neil in Wet Hot American Summer, and the biggest role.
The book was better.
Just like The Golden Compass - they took one of the greatest books in kids' fantasy, maybe in fantasy all together, gave it a great cast, but gave it too slow of a start to keep it interesting unless you've enjoyed the book.
The effects are not very impressive. Very cartoonish.
Kind of like pizza or horror movies, mediocre Wrinkle is better than no Wrinkle.

Why does "Crested Butte, Colorado" have such an expansive sewer system? (It's actually Gunnison, CO, I guess, but the bus said it was headed to Crested Butte).

I've always enjoyed this slaughter of prohibition history. Fun performances. The more I think about it, the less I am sure what De Niro was going for there. Dumb tough guy? Man-child?
