Since last year's list went like gangbusters, I was more than happy to do this again for 2017. This might be the only year-end list I put together; my wife and I had a baby this year, and my watchlist is massively out of control. (As it stands, my top 5 is probably Get Out, Personal Shopper, mother!, A Ghost Story, and Blade Runner 2049.)
Huge thanks to all the writers on here for their insights on the year in film and for giving us all something to distract us from this dumpster fire of a year. We'll get through this. Probably.

Notes:
[1] A good Samaritan on Twitter pointed me toward Scott Tobias' rough draft list. Using this, I recalculated and the top 10 shuffled just a little, though it's the same 10 films. Also, Nocturama and Brawl in Cell Block 99 made the list, bumping Columbus and Faces Places.
[2] Personal Shopper and BPM are technically tied for #12. But since I had a chance to see and loved Personal Shopper, I put that one first. Edit: It is now a 3-way tie with Brawl in Cell Block 99. That could be an interesting marathon viewing.
[3] It's worth noting that I only used Top 10s from everyone, even if I had 11-15 or 20, for consistency/fairness. The top 9 films appeared on 4+ lists.
