Honestly had no idea what this was about going in so I was really into the layered plot and twists and turns it takes you on. Asghar Farhadi does a great job with this as he has done with his last few movies balancing social and political themes of Iran with complex stories about families and relationships. This one is really well written with great back and forth bickering and altercations among the cast full of excellent performances throughout the ensemble. I did think the lead guy, Amir Jadidi, could be stiff at times but other than that I liked this! This is Iran's Submission to the Oscars for International Film.
