BlacKkKlansman ★★★½

my theater experience can best be described as white people laughing at other white people who in reality are all the same white people, and now said theater-going white people feel relieved they're not like those on-screen white people when the real problem isn't solely rooted in the liberal-fantasized, ham-fisted, tobacco-gummed buffoonery of the south, it's forcing that family run corner store to vacate to make room for a chobani yogurt pop up shop or calling the cops because someone stood in your building's doorway to avoid the rain

but yeah, this film's pacing left a lot of room for uncomfortable moments for at least one woman in the back to hoot and holler at every outlandishly vulgar and racist word spoken on screen
