Insanely gritty and darker than I had anticipated.
Awesome cinematography.
Great unreliable narrator/editing choices.Yet.....utterly pretentious. And portrayal of mental health?? AND we still can't get past an origin story for Batman...Dang.
It's a solid film, though. Probably a one time watcher.Edit: Admit it...you're only giving the movie 5 stars because of Joaquin Phoenix...

Everything Everywhere All at Once 2022
Firstly, I am forever thankful and appreciative for the craft of filmmaking, and it's explosive power to share, break down, and enhance humanity. It's a medium of endless exploration.
I can't say much about this one. I almost don't want to give it five stars simply because. The only thing I've got is... original movies exist. They're out there, and we have nothing to fear. I'm glad we can explore more every day.
