It's hard to talk about this film without bringing up the development hell behind it because for the most parts, that development hell is fairly obvious on screen. There are parts of the film that don't feel finished and others that make little sense, there are some amazingly well choreographed scenes and some fantastic effects to balance it out.
Then when you learn the director was troubled by meth addiction you're no longer sure if that jumbled scene was actually intentional.
It's certainly a creepy movie with some great visuals and some really interesting ideas even if they don't feel fully realised.
