Selection of the month: Climate

1 month - 1 theme - 10 films: connect to the environment by discovering LaCinetek's April Selection of the month

This month's selection takes the temperature of cinema and its relationship to climates, both natural and political, with an increased focus on landscapes, their forms, their sounds, their spirit. Taken from all latitudes, these films blow hot and cold: from harmonious "land'art" meditations (Seasons of the Year, The Naked Island), to the unusual weather of comedies, to the unhinged seasons of genre films (from the melodramatic swirls of Stormy Waters to the horrific squalls of Phenomena).

Ten films to sharpen our perception of the environment and to preserve it.

- Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring by Kim Ki-duk
- Seasons of the Year by Artavazd Peleshian
- The Naked Island by Kaneto Shindo
- Clouds of May by Nurgi Bilge Ceylan
- Nanook of the North by Robert J. Flaherty
- Mountain Pass by Jean-François Stévenin
- Swept Away by Lina Wertmüller
- Fargo by Joel Coen
- The Ice Storm by Ang Lee
- Phenomena by Dario Argento

The Selection of the month is available for €2.99 per month, in France, Belgium and Luxembourg.
