Daniel Lackey’s review published on Letterboxd:
A couple whose relationship is on the rocks find their last-ditch romantic getaway interrupted, first by an older couple with their own baggage, then by apocalyptic cephalopod-based body horror. Some great visuals and appropriately nasty squick, but the "character development" half of the film never really meshes with the "running from monsters" half. Very good performances, but I found it hard to care about the characters. Once it gets going it's very effective though.
