It’s A Sin may only be five episodes in length, but those five episodes are an absolute tour de force in storytelling, emotion, and performance. It made me so emotionally devastated that I couldn’t even bring myself to cry, it was beyond surface level sadness. It isn’t complete sorrow though, because there is such an incredible, heartwarming chemistry between all the leads. They work together flawlessly, so much so that they feel like real people. Just exquisite, no wonder it’s showing at the Berlinale. Can’t recommend this enough.
