Spider-Man: Far from Home

Spider-Man: Far from Home ★★★½

These films are best when they are cute and earnest and on a (relatively) small scale, even if the ongoing coming of age storyline has grown incredibly slight, and an entire tech underclass, stomped on by The Man, is p much defeated by a kid with good connections. The most unbelievable thing about this isn't gadgets, monsters, or superpowers, but the way that a group of wide-eyed Americans just waltz through a series of European countries, seemingly without need of funds, itineraries, or travel documents, and are welcomed with open arms and a ready supply of English speakers. The world is yours!
