Big Fish 2003
Vaguely charming, surprisingly watchable. Slightly annoyed by its whimsy but maybe that’s just cynical roxy. I think I would have liked this more if I saw 2-3 years ago. Tim Burton is a hack and has only ever made one really good movie. (You’re all lying to yourselves about beetle juice, that movie blows.) Everyone was tearing up at the end and my mom thought it was a good opportunity to talk about life.

Parasite 2019
