Chris Rock's attempt at reviving the Saw franchise falls short.

Chris Rock and Samuel Jackson are excellent and they have a strong supporting cast.

Just the right amount of humor.

Coincidentally timely

This movie was set to release in May of 2020, before the events leading up to the massive BLM protests. Knowing this it doesn't feel like it was used to make a quick buck.
