Fast X 2023
In the New Testament of the Fast and Furious Bible (we'll say Fast Five on), not a single "joke" has landed. Some physical or visual gags, sure, but none of the jokes. It's miserable. The funniest lines in all of these movies are the ones where the character is serious, and how the writers haven't realized that is beyond me. They actually did the thing where characters are using jargon and another one says, "English!" There's a scene in here with Pete Davidson that I never want to think about again. Sadly, my friend reminded me of it after the movie so now it's stuck.
