Andrew Rhyne’s review published on Letterboxd:
70mm screening. Pretty good movie.
Edit: changed rating. I've been thinking a lot about the "rules" and "consistency" I should apply to rating a piece of art that doesn't have a clear meaning. But art is not bound by these things. Many people got very similar things out of Moonlight, though I feel like I might be in a slightly smaller minority with the things that I got out of that film. That's the beauty of art, isn't it? A single piece, affecting different people in different ways. I imagine this edit is going to be incoherent to most people, but isn't that the beauty of this edit? Whatever. This is a masterpiece, though.
