Around two-thirds of the way through David Lowrey's 'A Ghost Story', Will Oldham's Prognosticator character brings a raging party to a halt with a well-reasoned but thoroughly nihilistic speech about the pointlessness of trying to leave a legacy behind in our dying universe.
