Lorenzo Ladogana’s review published on Letterboxd:
Not nearly as good as the first one, but still a fun time.
My main issue with Chapter 2 is not much with the story (with lack a lot of the humour and the personality of the first entry of the franchise) but mostly with some of his technical aspects.
The choreography is still excellent, but i feel something was lacking in terms of cinematography and editing. Maybe the loss of David Leitch as co-director influenced the final product.
My favorite aspect of Chapter 2 is definitively the dynamic between John Wick and Cassian (Common), the mixture of hate and professional courtesy in their conflict was really entertaining.
Looking forward to Parabellum next month.
