    Citizen Kane

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Off-course it’s a masterpiece, no one ever doubted that. It’s one of, if not the most influential film of all time. But what really strikes me is how well it still holds up. I really have nothing to add to the conversation about this film, everything has been said. Kind of contains spoilers, but you can’t really spoil a film like this.

Beautiful melancholy, gorgeous held-back cinematography and performances. Murray gives one of the greatest performances of all time, equal parts sad and funny. Thank god for this film.

This film had insane potential, but a few questionable choices bogged it down. Still a great film. Loved the Marvin Gaye songs. Some great acting, cinematography and scoring. Didn’t feel to long.
