Hooptober 6.0: The Number of the Beast

Night of the Creeps is the funniest film I've seen so far this Hooptober! Love the names of the characters, love the way Tom Atkins steals the show, love the story, the worms, the way Cynthia breaks up with Brad not knowing he's a wormified zombie, the one-liners, the ending, yes, Night of the Creeps is one hell of a film!

It is said these kind of films aren't made that much, the…

Hooptober 6.0: The Number of the Beast

The way the killer's head is blown off by that shotgun is the best death so far this Hooptober! Tom Savini's work here is just him showing off, he truly is one of the best special effect guys ever! Such amazing handy work! It is the sole reason for you to watch this one!

    Mad Max: Fury Road

What a suprise this is. What an epic. Car chases, awesome quotes, amazing visuals, stunning characters and design. GUITAR CAR, drums, amazing bad guys, Green Place, water, Immortan Joe played by Hugh Keays-Byrne, Theron is amazing, the same goes for Hoult. I liked Tom Hardy but he's no Mel Gibson Mad Max, he missed the awesome haircut, the dessert, possible sequels. Yes, this was amazing and a shitload of fun. This is a great action movie with it's own style and a great world. Sequels? YES.

    Thank you George Miller!

The Horrors of October 2014: “Hoop-tober” Edition!

Slither is awesome. Why? NATHAN FILLION and MICHAEL ROOKER. The two guys that made me love Castle and The Walking Dead. This one is funny and used pratical effects wherever it could. That was a nice change! The story is simple and predictable, but it's done so well that I really enjoyed it. It must be one of the best Horror movies from the 00's and I'm glad I've finally watched it!
