The Russo brothers brought a whole new vibe to the action thriller setup. Forget James Bond for now, we need more Ryan Gosling as Sierra Six. And not forgetting Chris Evans as a crazed psychotic baddie. He’s the one that strings this all together.

Funny, action packed, explosive entertainment to fill your evening with.

Not sure if it was my low expectations going into this, the fact we had spend a movie length trying to find a film to watch, or it simply being a better than average thriller, but this was a tucked away treasure.

An interesting take on archaeological / Pyramid based movies, that albeit somewhat predictable was a nice watch with a few good jump scares thrown in for extra measure.

My favourite part though was the cast, as a Brit…

You might mistake this for Doctor Strange in its narrative, but it is far from it!

The alternative dimensions are fun, creative and down-right bonkers. From start to finish, you are thrown between the multiverses and you never know where you are going land next. You will not want to look away from your screens.

Bring the Rocky vibes into the game of basketball, it was always going to be epic, tantalising and agonisingly stressful.

The power through balling montages and uptempo music sequences stringed the movies together, but I can’t help think we’ve seen it all before. The uprising through social media, violent turned pro player… the predictability, for me, let it down slightly.

Nevertheless, Adam Sandler makes a great coach and I did feel myself connected to his progression, his mentality and his attitude.

What’s not to love about epic sports movies?
