Great movie and top notch performances, it’s very long but didn’t really feel like it to me
It’s more Evil Dead as expected, though felt this balanced the horror and comedic aspects of the series a bit more than the 2013 film did. Over the top, violent, and a lot of demented campy fun. They also did a notably strong job with the camera work and audio, with great gore effects. The only eh thing was the intro had no relevance to the rest of the film outside of a quick ending scene (title reveal was cool though)
Have no idea how I overlooked Dreamworks making something this spectacular. Would easily would put this alongside the finest of animated films I’ve seen, the artistry of it blew me away and can see how it’s considered timeless in that regard
