Devon Ewalt’s review published on Letterboxd:
The fact that this idea became a movie is an accomplishment in itself, and the reason it has withstood the test of time is that it completely committed to it, and owned it, never doubting once what it wanted to do. It’s all pretty ridiculous, but who cares? The performances are so animated, and the art direction so eye-catching that it’s almost impossible not to get caught up in it. Iconic turns by Keanu and Alex Winter, then you throw in George Carlin and it’s pure gold.
