Lea’s review published on Letterboxd:
I love political satire, but this ain’t it. Apart from a few good quips, the writing in this film is mostly subpar and not nearly as clever as it is meant to be. Several of the plot points are irrelevant, and the entire story kind of amounts to nothing. I especially did not appreciate the endlessly long fight scene toward the end, during which I replied to two emails and still had time to spare— boring! Despite its amusing premise and potential to make a relevant commentary, The Hunt falls flat in almost every sense and is frankly unnecessary.
Glenn Howerton fans, skip this one and just rewatch some Always Sunny instead.
