  I cannot even begin to explain how much better this is than the American version. I watched The Ring (2002) growing up and therefore it had some nostalgia tied to it. It was also filmed all along the west coast where I grew up so I loved the scenery.

  Sitting through this with a blinding headache didn't help much.. but the dialogue was clunky, the acting was painful, and the story was dull. I love you Clint Eastwood but this one wasn't it for me!! Had he scrapped the romance and about 30 minutes of the film, we'd be looking at a solid 4 or higher
