  Gorgeously and tenderly filmed epic that is only brought down by some very minor issues. Snyder turns a Frankenstein disaster of movie back into an emotionally and character driven  epic that earns its runtime and payoff. The Snyder Cut is, in fact, cinema.

  
  A rewatch could very well bring this up to 5 stars, because I was almost crying several times over the course of this beautiful movie.
