Leigh A’s review published on Letterboxd:
This feels like an "actor's movie." Like, theater stuff. It feels like a stage show. For me, personally, the movie was TIRING and claustrophobic, and had too much horny Christopher Lloyd. The writing hearkens to "Old Hollywood"-style delivery of quips and puns, but doesn't quite hit the mark, coming off as self-indulgent.
However, if you wanna see Tim Curry showboating but don't wanna go all in on a Rocky Horror viewing, this is a pretty good alternative.
On the other hand, not many movies can claim to depict the murder of more than one 80s LA punk icon, but this one has two. Kinda cool if you're into sick shit like that.
