Sing Street is my personal favorite of Carney’s films, but wow, this one is incredible. A simple story told in an approachable, beguiling, and absolutely heart-melting way.
I think my wife and I made a great choice for our Valentines Day movie.
Now THAT was a sequel. Sure, perhaps there are some aspects of this action-packed spectacle that could be considered major flaws, but it's a magnificent thrill ride from beginning to end that brings some well-needed closure to its predecessor. I won't say much since it's a little late as I finish watching this, so here's just a little bit of my overall opinion: fantastic action, strong acting, smart writing from James Cameron, an expansion of ideas from the original movie among other things. Plus, Sigourney Weaver really is that good here.
Also, I absolutely hate Facehuggers.
