This is definitely flawed and I am aware of these flaws, but this is just so much fun. This is probably the movie in the Raimi trilogy that I’ve seen the most. The story has way too much happening, it would have been better with all of the Venom stuff cut out but I actually really like the Sandman stuff and the music is great like in the previous two. The action sequences are pretty exciting it’s visually great. There is also a ton of unintentionally funny moments that fit the cheesy tone. This is just of those childhood guilty pleasure movies that I have a lot of nostalgia for. Although this is the weakest of the Tobey Maguire movies, this is a pretty good finish to one of my favorites trilogies.
