It is so unreal to think Satoshi Kon made great films all throughout his career and it is equally unimaginable that he had to pass away so soon. At least he went out on a high note! Paprika is the perfect culmination of all the themes he studied throughout his short oeuvre and perhaps the greatest showcase of editing skills the animation world (or even film in general) has ever seen!
