𝕎𝕚𝕝𝕝𝕖𝕞 (𝕃𝕖𝕠) 𝕧𝕒𝕟 𝕕𝕖𝕣 ℤ𝕒𝕟𝕕𝕖𝕟’s review published on Letterboxd:
There's an absolutely inspiring sense of vitality in this that I'm practically unable to put into words. The simple concept of a group of prepubescent boys and their rascal ways of expressing their feelings for a beautiful young woman is delivered with so much energy while never becoming overbearing. The 18 minute-long short flies by like a rocket and still has so much "openness" to it, so much space for the viewer to just dive in and get completely enveloped by the simple but strong emotions Truffaut lays out in front of us. It's plain but effective and shows the kind of kinetic energy I'd long to see in every movie.
