this was such an interesting and widely entertaining film. emma stone and rachel weisz both put such alluring performances, but it was olivia colman who stole the show. definitely hope to see these three in a best/ supporting actress nominations at the oscars.
besides performances, visuals were stunning, cinematography, direction, music and costume design were to die for. the script has to be the best part.
i’m not one to watch historical period dramas, but this did make me catch my attention to watch more of these type of films.
