absolutely brilliant from martin scorsese. this has to go down as one of my favorites from him. it’s a must watch for everyone to see.

i was expecting an emotional song for the ending credits but instead heard “i will survive” playing. that’s pure comedy right there.

Saving Private Ryan 1998
i can’t believe this movie didn’t win best picture. the first 30 minutes was the most gruesome i’ve seen and that wasn't over yet. it’s hard to watch and sit through this movie without feeling an ounce of emotion. steven spielberg really delivered a masterpiece.
