Kingsman: The Secret Service ★★★★

Really enjoyed this film. Colin Firth rocked it as the gentleman spy (turns out he can do something besides rom-coms and do it well). Samuel L. Jackson plays perfectly the evil genius Valentine. Props to Taron Egerton on a job well done in keeping up with such performance veterans.

The only thing I would say against it is that it tries too hard to break the "spy movie" mold to be so unsuccessful in doing it. That doesn't take away from the entertainment value, though.

Just a heads up: this film is rated R for language, sex, and gratuitous violence (heads exploding, blood splattering, elongated and gory fight scenes, etc.), so be sure to have those internal filters up.
