I enjoyed this more than Jackass Forever.

    Good Mourning

It looks like they had a lot of fun making this movie, but I didn't have any fun watching it.

  • Men

I never want to see Rory Kinnear’s face or this movie ever again.

  • Invocation of My Demon Brother

    Invocation of My Demon Brother

This film got me pregnant. Zero stars.

Whenever I think of movies that actually SHOULD be remade, bad Stephen King adaptations are the first ones that come to mind. But judging by the Letterboxd reviews for this movie, I’m guessing I’m the only one? Pet Sematary was always at the top of my list of movies I wanted to be remade because I loved the book and didn’t think the movie did it justice at all. Clearly that didn’t work out because the remake was even worse.…

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

I hate to be a buzzkill, but do people really need to clap so much during Marvel movies? If you’re in a theater with people who worked on the movie, then I can understand it. But otherwise, it just feels like the equivalent of clapping when your plane lands. And every time people clap and cheer when a new character shows up, I can never hear the dialogue. You’d think if people are so excited about a movie that they…

I went to IFC Center on Sunday to see this, but there was a projection issue and they had to cancel the screening. So, I rewatched the movie at home that night. But I still really wanted to see it in a theater, so I went back to IFC Center tonight. And I have to say, no one should ever watch this movie multiple times in one week. As much as I love this movie, twice in one week is too much. I feel like my soul has been sucked out of my body.

  • Wild Child

    Wild Child

This movie perfectly encapsulates how embarrassing it was to be a teenage girl in the late 2000s. I can’t stop cringing.

  • Sonic the Hedgehog 2

    Sonic the Hedgehog 2

I loved Knuckles and Tails. But this movie is just too damn long for its own good.

  • Inland Empire

    Inland Empire

I always thought this was David Lynch’s most hated movie. But I’ve never seen so many people at IFC Center before in my life. Holy shit.

  • Ambulance

    Ambulance

The script is really bad. It’s messy, has a lot of cringey dialogue (especially the references to Bay’s other movies), and requires some major suspension of disbelief. But it managed to make me care about some of the characters, and that’s all I really needed to get into this movie. And Eiza González and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II‘s performances really sold it for me. The movie managed to keep me entertained for its entire runtime. And I wasn’t expecting to feel…

“Even hate starts to feel like love because that’s acknowledgment.”

Holy shit. I was not expecting to be so moved by a stand-up special. I love how supportive the audience was and the way he interacted with them.
