Luke Grima’s review published on Letterboxd:
Whiplash is a ferociously jazz infused film that exceeded all my expectations. A film that paradiddles its way into your being and never lets go.
Miles Teller displaying a star making performance but all the plaudits has to, and rightly go to J.K. Simmons. His darkest and psychotic role to date since probably HBO's 'Oz'. He's the only deserving winner for the Supporting Actor nomination.
A real blood, sweat and tears film. Whiplash, along with Birdman are now one of my favourite films of 2015. All hail the drum.
