I try and take all documentaries with a grain of salt. But this was a solid doc on how the green energy movement’s leaders have sold out to big fossil fuel companies and what is hailed as ‘clean’ energy is very often worse for the environment than fossil fuels.

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish 2022
This was much better than I anticipated. Lots of fun! Loved the animation style! And I know of no other kids film where humility is the theme. Kids loved it.

The Passion of the Christ 2004
Absolutely excellent portrayal of Christ’s crucifixion. Jesus’ tone and demeanor are captured extremely well by Caviezel in a way that is head and shoulders above most films about Jesus. One of my all time most moving films.

10 Cloverfield Lane 2016
10 Cloverfield Lane crept up on me.
I went in to this film not expecting much. I had heard that somehow it tied in to the Cloverfield universe, and having enjoyed that film, I had wanted to see this one but had held off for a long time.
I love that the film isn’t a sequel in the regular sense at all. The story within the story was a really impactful way to approach this one! Very good performances all around. What a great (and intense!) little story! If you liked Cloverfield, and are considering this one, you won’t be disappointed.
Now I want another sequel...
