Wow, had no idea what this was about and I’m absolutely blown away right now.
I have no idea how a film that is so heartbreaking and is about the Holocaust is so funny. Even writing that sentence now feels wrong. But it managed to pull off something that I’ve never seen before. It’s truly the darkest of all dark comedies.
The two leads were so charismatic and it was so tense, I don’t think I looked away for a second during this film.
