the breakout performance of this film is by far the soundscape. simple things like footsteps, dropping a glass, ringing a doorbell, etc. became terrifying.
incredible acting performances all around. michelle pfeiffer delivers with a presence that sticks around even when she's not on screen. and jennifer lawrence is stunning, as always.
claustrophobia in film form and an experience that you won't forget. the atmosphere becomes more and more tense throughout then finally everything just goes to absolute hell.
