    the individual punches land harder than the whole match, but boy are there some wild expressionist images in this that really sing: wrestling in the rain, throwing the ice down the stairs into the camera, sly dressed as santa claus, tom waits and a whole mess of pro wrestlers in the background, frank stallone in a brief appearance as a lounge singer who puts out his cigarette on the microphone before singing into it. armand assante is incredible in this tbh. i love to say the name "armand assante"
