Ok.. so this is one of those films that evaded me up until now. I missed it during the regular run in Vancouver so I thought I would have to settle with a screener. I threw the screener in to the DVD player and watched the first 3 minutes. I could tell this was a film to be seen on the big screen . I noticed that the Rio Theatre in Vancouver was having a one-off screening and bought my tix. Glad I did.
Hill made a solid film. The film has a lot of heart and I enjoyed the ride.
Great cinematography by Christopher Blauvelt. The Super 16 looks fantastic.
And I really liked Na-kel Smith who plays Ray in the film.
