    Probably the best adaptation of anything I’ve ever seen, based on some of the best novels I’ve ever read, and really actually I am going to be thinking about this forever. The acting!!!!!!! Holy fuck the fucking acting. Impeccably cast. Ahhhhhhhhh I can’t be articulate about this actually just go read the books and then watch this show cause holy fuck y’all

    This was beautiful!! It’s clear reading other reviews that folks are not picking up on a lot of cultural context, which is a shame, but I think even with zero advance knowledge this is a lovely film.

    Is this about coffee or about how much the Italian criminal justice system sucks? Kind of both, but it also can’t seem to decide what it’s about. Unfortunately, this movie is not very well executed- the cinematography leans a bit corny, the narrative is a bit jumbled, and the American woman in it feels incredible random in comparison to the rest of the narrative. I’ll confess that I also just find her annoying- she talks like my middle school bullies…
