19 year old French film bro
A film with a number of run-ons. The rare action scenes are quite visually successful, but are quickly forgotten. However, the main problem with the film is that it tries to tell the story of Napoleon in 2h30. It would have taken a longer film or an entire saga.
Character development is more than superficial: we forget which characters follow each other, and we don't understand the role played by each one. You don't get a sense of Napoleon's rise…
A fun, absurdist teen comedy about two clueless girls looking to hook up with two cheerleaders. With offbeat scenes and an amazing main duo of Rachel Sennott (underutilised in The Idol which is a shame) and Ayo Edebiri. This is probably my favorite comedy of 2023. You'll have a great time if you're a fan of crude humor.
