this was freakin twisted..... description says "romantic and familial love" but i did not really detect much of any kind of love in the whole movie. everyone was just fk'ed up and passed down their godawful traits to the next generation

beautiful beautiful beautiful cinematography. reds and greens and reds and greens. inspiring fight back against the japanese in spite of them being fucked up. but i am just not down for this yeye character! what an ass!

i absolutely loved the story, it was the perfect mix of hilarious and action and tear jerker, but even if it wasn't just joy's fits alone would be enough for me to be obsessed w this film
