What I've always admired about Nolan is his image cell systems that allow the viewer to feel the action even if they theoretically were to not pay attention to the specificities of the plot in dialogue. I watched the Dark Knight a lot as a kid and didn't know wtf they were talking about but I could always intuit the progression of the story by comprehending what I was seeing. If I can watch it three times in a day and it's still actually bearable, let alone still exciting, it can have a 5. THats montage babes. What's interesting is that it's obviously tailored to be seen twice ("This whole operation was a temporal pincer") but once you go the third time being comfortably attuned to it's rhythms and logic you really see that at this point Nolan is just going completely berserk, having fun with it.
