Johnathan Fisher’s review published on Letterboxd:
While not my favorite Tarantino movie that I have seen thus far, 'Django Unchained' is a fantastic film none the less. Everything from the acting, editing, story, and effects are extremely well put together. There are some song choices that made me tilt my head in confusion, but most of the time the music blends well into the scenes. DiCaprio steals the spotlight, as this is his best role I have seen him in thus far. The rest of the cast is stellar in every scene they are in. Even as a person who constantly subjects myself to long movies, I will admit that 'Django' does linger on for a bit too long and could have been cut down through editing. That doesn't take away from the fact that the movie is top notch film making.
