i don't know who i was before this movie. just a hollow shell of a man, wandering through life without purpose.

i came for russell crowe (😏) and stayed for ryan gosling--the latter being hilarious and the best he's ever been. unsual, unconventional movie with odd, unexpected plot twists and laugh-out-loud funny verbal and physical comedy where everything pays off in the end.
