    Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers

Fun! A playful mockery on our IP and reboot-obsessed culture. I liked the film's clever self-awareness, but the overloading of pop culture references can be a little annoying, the plot's too formulaic, and some of the humor fell flat. I wouldn't mind a sequel though.

    Two insecure souls
    Wandering around the mall
    Their story begins...

    An old man's past love
    Teaches us to take chances--
    The clock is ticking...

    Haikus and buck teeth
    Under the loud fireworks

    "It's like a cheap melodrama."

Indeed, but that's the beauty of it.

Tho I was initially worried about that one uncomfortably controversial twist during the middle but I'm glad they subverted it near the end.

    Satisfyingly wholesome.

Watching this post-election just hits different. What a very politically and socially relevant film that teaches us to fight back against a tyrannical system that wanted to punish people for being educated and standing for the truth.

She picked this film to ease our post-voting and pre-results anxieties. I didn't question it and just went along. Unfortunately, the unofficial tallys came pouring in mid-film and I can't help but to constantly check the real-time updates on our local and national election results online.

Double depression, I might say. Tho the latter affected me more.

soooo I was watching this movie with someone online while we chat our reactions from it at the same time. It was going pretty well, but 1 hour later, I noticed she didn't reply back. no worries... but the end credits already started rolling... and there's still no sign of her. my guess is she probably fell asleep in the middle of watching it lmao pero paano nga ba siya nawala? (i love how this situation fits the movie's title)…

I'm currently a struggling college student and this is such a perfect comfort film to watch whenever I'm feeling stressed and burned out from all my academic responsibilities. It's undeniably wholesome and I just know I'm gonna rewatch this soon whenever this low feeling comes back again.

    Twin Peaks: The Missing Pieces

I wish they just kept these moments in the original prequel film: all those Agent Phillip Jeffries (David Bowie) moments, that one dinner scene where the Palmer family are practicing how to greet themselves in Norwegian and eventually laughing together, that extended Laura and Donna BFF moment, and that ceiling fan scene. Also, that continuation on the cliffhanger from season two was definitely intriguing. Now, I gotta cool down first for a week or two before watching The Return.

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me

I will never forget that ending.

I started Twin Peaks to cure my thirst for Lynch's dose of surrealism. However, little did I know that the show is a campy, small-town soap opera first and magic surrealism/realism second. It took me out at first, but I managed to appreciate it and just went along for the ride. But the show really shines when there's visual surrealism + magic realism involve (the Red Room moments were the best) and if an…
