Solid thriller, so much anxiety w an amazing performance and physicality from Kali Reis. Idk if I got the ending, kind of fell flat for me but it was beautiful.

Atmosphere was great and so many of the shots look like classic Batman comic book panels, skylight sunset big building etc.  Paul Dano rocked it and was the only person Rob had chemistry with, fun to see them have a competition for most unhinged actor in the jail scene. Zoe wasn’t the right choice but she did look hot af in the little outfit.

can’t stop thinking of how each shot frames the main characters so tightly in the screen, directing their intimacy and longing like being trapped inside on a rainy day. keeping them from experiencing connections by rarely showing faces of other actors works so well here. The physical spaces in this movie are so lush and rich that it seems impossible that loneliness is creeping in. love be like that sometimes

the abstract scenes somehow ground this film and give the audience a taste of the torture Diana was subjected to, as well as the warmth and joy she had being a mother. kstew baby I knew you would do so good don’t listen to the haters bella swan this bella swan that
