Actually great plot. Loose ending. Harry styles cannot act.
This movie perfectly sums up how much men/boys are forgiven and how women/girls will always be brushed aside. The premise: a 13 year old boy stabs his 4 year old sister 17 TIMES after convincing the babysitter to go home. Mental health was ignored first by the mother, then by the state. The documentary became a "which family member do we blame" despite a 13 year boy violently murdering a 4 year old. It was family drama aired on a big network.
I watched the whole thing but yelled at and argued with the TV throughout.
i don't know how to rate this bc i can't actually tell how good it is.
see. the first like 12-24 hours post-viewing were scary. But now I think about it and I could probably watch it again.
there were plenty of moments were the whole theatre laughed but also i'm pretty sure someone walked out of our theatre crying? there were some predictable moments and a ton of symbolism and background imagery related to the plot.
